A 1040 kg car is pulling a 305 kg trailer. Together

the car and trailer have an acceleration of 2.07 m/s2 in the forward direction. Neglecting frictional forces on the trailer

設往前forward direction為正向

也是我們的右邊a.視車car為自由體單獨以加速度a移動

則表示有外力f作用在車上

f=ma=1040*2.07=2152.8.....Ansb.比照a的方法單獨看拖車trailer

則受力=305*2.07=631.35.....Ansc.求拖車trailer作用在車car上的力(拖車trailer不計摩擦力):-631.35.....Ans解法:畫拖車trailer的自由體圖

已知有一力作用631.35往右作用在被拖點上

因作用力=反作用力

所以

這個反作用力=-631.35往左作用在車car上的拖點d.求車car作用在路面上的力以及該力的方向與垂直下方的夾角:已知作用在車car上的淨力=2152.8往前

而這個淨力是輪胎往後施力在路面上

造成地面產生相等的

往前的反作用力

然後這個往前的反作用力減掉拖車trailer作用在車上的力-631.5所剩下的就是淨力2152.8往前

依照上述文字畫車的自由體圖並轉成算式

自由體圖:得到車共有兩外力作用

一個是地面的反作用力

往前X;一個是拖車的作用力

往後-631.35

列式:X-631.35=2152.8得地面的反作用力X=2784.15往前(右)則輪胎對地面的作用力=-2784.15往後(左).....Ans依題意

題目要我們從垂直下方往左量到這個作用力

看有多少度

受力f=ma

(a) fcar = 1040 kg x 2.07 m/s2 = 2152.8 N

(b) ftrailer = 305 kg x 2.07 m/s2 = 631.35 N

(c) 總受力為 2152.8 N 631.35 N = 2784.15 N

車子有 2152.8 N 正向淨力

即反向對地施力 2152.8 N - 2784.15 N = -631.35 N
